‘Spectre’ Breaks UK Box Office Opening Day Record

Pre-box office forecasts had tipped Spectre to do well upon its release and it’s likely we may well see further UK box office records smashed in the coming weeks as the latest instalment in the blockbuster franchise continues to draw crowds to their local cinemas.

James Bond has become a major player in the world of cinema since Daniel Craig and director Sam Mendes teamed up for Skyfall, and although the duo will be returning for ‘Bond 25‘, it’s not yet known whether this successful partnership will continue past 2017 – though with the $1.1 billion that the last film made, and the likelihood that Spectre will match that colossal haul, there will certainly be some big-money offers on the table to entice them to continue with this winning formula.

Spectre, co-starring Christoph Waltz, Naomi Harris, Ralph Fiennes, Dave Bautista and Lea Seydoux, is in cinemas worldwide now.
